This past February my niece, Darcy, got married in St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. Unfortunately we were unable to go the wedding, not that we wouldn't have loved to. Who wouldn't love to spend a week in St. Thomas. Al, however, did buy me a plane ticket back to Minnesota for her bridal shower in January. I was also able to go to her reception in August thanks to some travel vouchers that my sister Kathy and her family had. (Thank you Kathy!!) The reception was held in Tower, a small town in northern Minnesota. The weekend was a lot of fun and it was great to see most of my family again. Here are a few family pictures from the reception.

Hi. This is Al's cousin Claudia. Mike (my brother) sent me the link to your blog. I agree completely that it is great to go home. We have been in very flat Michigan for 11 years. We miss our family, the beautiful mountains and pretty much everything very much. It seems like ages since I saw you at Mike and Linda's wedding. Take care.
