I have to say this is probably Al's favorite past time. He spends at least one day at Lee Kay Center training his favorite four legged friends. The last couple of years he has gotten involved with a couple of retriever clubs here in the Salt Lake Valley. Every spring and summer they have hunt tests where the dogs are entered to test their retrieving skills. They have three different levels, Junior, Senior, and Master. The dogs have to pass a certain number of tests to receive their titles. Jake has his Junior title and will be working for his Senior. Max, the pup, will be working on his Junior title this next year. Last year, he even tricked me into working at one of the tests. I have to admit it was kind of fun though.
