AKC Hunt Test - Fairfield ID August 29-30, 2009

The end of August we took a trip to Fairfield Idaho for another AKC Hunt test that we had Max entered in. He needed one more pass to get his Junior Title. He ended up passing both days. Next year it will be on to the Senior level. It was a very interesting weekend. We drove up on Friday and had a little extra time so we drove up to Sun Valley. Neither of us had ever been there so it was a lot of fun. It reminded us of Park City. Then it was back to Fairfield pop. 395. We decided to stop in Hailey for dinner that night on the way back to Fairfield. It was a good thing we did because the next night we found out that the main restaurant by our hotel closes at 7:30 pm. We closed the place on Saturday. I think the dogs entered in the test that weekend out numbered the town's population. Luckily due to a late cancellation we were able to get a hotel room in Fairfield. It is hard to believe that a town that small even has a hotel. Even though it rained on Sunday we had a really good time.
