We know that Spring is here or almost here when baseball starts again. Every summer for the past 6 or 7 years we have been involved with the Salt Lake Bees baseball team. They are the AAA affiliate for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. We work up in the press box running the scoring portion of the scoreboard. It is kind of fun at times, but it gets to be a long summer as well with 72 home games. Needless to say, our summers are planned around baseball games. The team is starting out pretty good so far this year with a 5-2 record. This last week with the weather we have been having it was kind of hard to get some of the games in. We already had one rainout and a double header. The first game was also cancelled due to the death of one of the Angels pitchers, Nick Adenhart. He spent most of last season with us at the Bees. He was killed in a car accident along with 2 other people early Thursday morning. Today they head out of town for 8 days so we get a little bit of a break again.
